Quality

In 1997, in recognition of the growth prospects, CS “Akmena” has decided to establish the Quality Management SYSTEM (QMS) in accordance with the international ISO 9001 standards.

In 1998 the system was audited by the German agency "TÜV Thüringen", which concluded that the QMS established in the company, conforms to the above-mentioned international standards requirements.

QMS in “Akmena” is analyzed during the internal quality audits, by organizing Quality days, where customer complaints, claims are dealt with; other problems related to the quality of production are discussed.

SC “Akmena” has brought the following quality policy goals and tasks:

To improve the established quality management system according to LST EN ISO 9001: 2001 standard requirements;
Using high quality materials and components to produce the products, which meets customers demand;
To bring the measurable quality goals and tasks and to fulfill them;
To make the employees accepting company’s goals as own;
To aim for the highest customer satisfaction with the quality of goods;
To improve the production technology and to install the technical news;
To use employees knowledge’s, machinery, raw materials, working methods in the most efficient way;
To make the working conditions for qualitative, efficient work, warranting the social guaranties, save and healthy working conditions;
To follow the legal standards requirements;
To improve the QMS efficiency;
To increase the reliance between suppliers and customers, to develop the mutual respect by increasing internecine obligations, meeting customers’ requirements and constantly improving.
